Microphone permission
A voice room needs microphone access to work. Your browser should ask before granting that permission. If you are testing, use a quiet room, close duplicate tabs, and stop the session when finished. If the browser blocks the microphone, the AI cannot hear you even if your paid minutes are active.
Payment handling
After Hours Voice uses Stripe for payment. That means card entry and card storage are handled by Stripe, not by this website. The site receives checkout status and enough session information to credit minutes and help with support. A paid beta should always make the price, time amount, and support path visible before checkout.
Data processing
Realtime voice requires live processing. During a session, audio has to be sent to an AI provider so the system can understand speech and generate a reply. After Hours Voice does not store call audio or transcripts by default, but users should still treat AI voice rooms as software services, not private human confidants.
Clear AI identity
The product should not pretend to be a human. The voice is generated by AI and may be wrong, awkward, delayed, or unable to help. Clear identity matters because people make better choices when they understand what the system is and what it is not.
Emergency limits
Do not use an AI voice room for emergencies, crisis support, self-harm situations, medical advice, legal advice, or financial decisions. If a person may be in danger, they should contact emergency services or a trusted person immediately.
